Happy New Year Everyone! I hope everyone had a good time last night, I know I did. As part of my new years resolution that I posted the other day, I decided to give Lululemon’s goal setting website a try. I think they call it goaltender.

I found goaltender to be really good for setting my goals. In the past I have just jotted down my goals on scrap paper, kept them in my head, or didn’t really have many goals. But the Lululemon goaltender really makes you think out your goals and what you want in life.

It starts out by asking your to define your values for three categories: career, personal, and health. Goaltender asks you to quickly write a few sentences on each category. I found this video (below) of Chip useful in figuring out why and how to separate goals into these categories.

Then you are supposed to write a paragraph on your ideal future life, 10 years down the road.

After that is a discussion on: what a goal is, why it’s OK to fail, the five steps to writing out a goal, and making it happen.

The next step is the most important and took the longest time. You are supposed to write out your 1,5 and 10 year goals for each of the categories career, personal, and health. Take your time and do this step right, I took me a good 15 to 20 minutes to do this, so plan to have some time.

After that you are done. You can create an account so you can come back in the future and track your progress, update you goals, or print it out.

I definitely recommend you give this web program a try. Don’t forget to make good health and fitness goals. Be active, workout lots and don’t forget to wear Lululemon while you do so. Take a look at the online Lululemon store to Buy Lululemon Pants or Buy Lululemon Tank Tops and Shirts.
